+ continue to seek ways to de-individualize responsibilities of care and health to place them in common.

They consider themself a highly-informed, curious non-expert and perpetual student, excited to collaborate with people and plants to create support, pleasure + change.

They often rely on pharmaceuticals to get through the day.

education
I practice as forever-student practitioner and remain a curious non-expert. I've been a student of herbalism for the past fifteen years, and am currently in my seventh year of clinical herbal practice.

In 2012, I completed a clinical herbal program at the Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine + went on to practice at the formerly-known Olympia Free Herbal Clinic for three years. I completed a clinical practicum at the BC Compassion Club Society Wellness Center in Vancouver in 2017, and a 3-year clinical herbal program at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism in 2018.
I recently completed a 3-year practitioner training in Somatic Experiencing.

My experiences working in harm reduction + community mental health influence my work.
I continually engage in collaboration with colleagues + continuing education.

I'm so honored and so humbled to form part of a long line of herbalists. My teachers & mentors have included Karyn Sanders, Sarah Holmes, Flor deLinda, Mimi Kamp, Paul Bergner, Maeanna Welti, Maryann Abbs, Thea Schanse, Larken Bunce, Betzy Bancroft, dear friends, clients + (of course) the plants!
